Ayurvedic and Herbal
In Sri Lanka Ayurveda medicine is based on the country’s centuries old treasure trove of indigenous knowledge base, natural environment and cultural repertory. According to archeological evidence, human civilisation dates back 30,000 years. Cave men of that age domesticated many wild plant varieties and used them for food and medicines.

Lakpura German Chamomile Essential Oil (20ml)
Lakpura German Chamomile Essential Oil (20ml)
Aside from being famous in teas, the German chamomile plant is also praised for its healing effects in various herbal applications. As a matter of fact, Germans often refer to it as "alles zutraut," which means "capable of anything." It's also been mistakenly referred to as the "European ginseng," given its cure-all capabilities. This is also referred to as Blue Chamomile. It contains chamazulene, which gives the oil its distinctive dark blue color and anti-inflammatory properties. German Chamomile essential oil has carminative, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and anticatarrhal properties (or helps the body remove excess mucus). This beneficial essential oil penetrates deep into the layers of your skin where its potent anti-inflammatory action can restore and soothe irritated skin, mouth ulcers, burns, bruises and other skin conditions.
