There are also less impurities, possibly as Ceylon Cinnamon is made from the soft inner bark, whereas Cassia Cinnamon uses the thick outer bark. Ceylon Cinnamon Bark essential oil is derived from steam distilling the Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Bark. The quality of Ceylon Cinnamon Bark Oil is denoted by the the level of Cinnamaldehyde present. Anything over 60% is considered very good quality. Those approaching 75% is considered extreme high quality, but expensive. As our essential oil is derived from organically grown premium Ceylon Cinnamon of Sri Lanka (Ceylon), extreme high quality as well as the best value is assured.
Uses: Ceylon Cinnamon (aka True Cinnamon) bark essential oil is ideal to be used in small concentrations for culinary purposes. The oils found in Ceylon Cinnamon are rich in anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties. Ceylon Cinnamon is used to treat indigestion (dyspepsia), diarrhoea, diabetes and obesity. Ceylon Cinnamon essential oil may work to reduce blood pressure, blood sugar levels and bad cholesterol. It can also be used in aromatherapy as a relaxant.Purity: 100%
