Udawalawe National Park Entrance Ticket

Avoid long queues at the entrance and purchase a ticket online through Lakpura and gain access to the Udawalawe National Park which is famous for its wildlife and natural beauty. The ticket offers you the entry to the park only and does not entitle you to any other services such as English speaking guides, safari jeeps, snacks, water bottles etc. Excluded services can also be purchased and booked through Lakpura for an additional fee.

Kindly note that this is not an e-ticket but a physical ticket that needs to be collected 24 hours prior to entering the park while we can make arrangements to have it delivered to you as well. Famous for its massive Sri Lankan Elephant population that roams around in herds, Udawalawe is also home to wild buffaloes, spotted deer, sambars, migratory and water birds, butterflies and large numbers of amphibians and reptiles. Udawalawe is mainly made up of plains while there are a few mountainous areas as well. Covering over 300 square miles, the habitat also includes the Udawalawe Reservoir, marsh areas, the massive Walawe River and its tributaries, forests and open grasslands. The Udawalawe National park is lightly vegetated and the lack of vegetation makes it a much preferred destination for game watching. Perfect for wildlife enthusiasts the park is also a good bird watching site.
